To entertain the human race. The Executive Director Finance Operations reports to and partners with the Property President to set the financial policy and direction for Gold Strike. Position is an active participant in, and driver of, the organization's overall strategy. Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with MGM's business objectives, budget guidelines, established safety standards, and Gold Strike policies, practices and procedures. Accountable for the operational and gaming regulatory compliance function in accordance with the Mississippi Gaming Commission and other government agencies. Also ensure property compliance with all legal and company regulations and policies. Drives key operational and strategic initiatives by developing and implementing a strategic plan and vision for the property consistent with Gold Strike's vision/mission and serves as a key member of the property's Operating Committee. Serves as both a financial and operational resource to the President and operational division heads relative to the financial success and viability of the property. Ensure quality processes in alignment with company policies and procedures, ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, gaming, other regulatory and internal control requirements, conduct ongoing risk assessments to ensure foundational health and mitigate risk, and oversee the risk management liability exposure for the property and monitors/governing related financial expenditures. Participates in the identification and development of business partnerships and relationships which may be beneficial to the long-term growth and success of the property. Works closely with property department management to establish sound operational business practices and methods to ensure all projects and assignments produce quality results, remain within budget, and meet targeted deadlines. Provides executive oversight and direction for the Finance Division, to include:
Financial Planning & Analysis, Cage/Credit/Collections/Marker Operations, Casino Finance and Count Team, Workforce Management, Cashiering, Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory Control, Compliance, and Internal Controls & Fraud Detection. Responsibility for research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure MGM Resorts competitive position. Ability to anticipate market and customer changing needs within the dynamic hospitality/gaming environment. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 8 years of finance experience. At least 6 years of finance leadership experience. Demonstrated business acumen in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, controls and reporting. Strong ability to weigh cost factors versus operational requirements. Strong analytic skills and experience interpreting and executing a strategic vision into an operational plan. Strong experience setting financial policy and direction for the business. Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms. Preferred:
Master's Degree in a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Previous experience in a casino environment with high limit gaming, significant marker operations and luxury amenities. Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
