The EVS Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Public Area Attendants, and for the cleanliness of all areas within the casino & hotel (except kitchens and certain restaurants and bar areas) Must be able to:
give instructions listen and take direction follow up answer questions be safe be fair answer radio calls immediately report any hazardous situation to security and / or Management immediately! take appropriate action when necessary document incidents including slips, trips and falls and report to PM document incidents related to employee problems and report to the PM remain organized and keep the office and maintenance area in order be familiar with the necessary documents and complete them activity Report, Sweep / Spill Sheet Reports, Radio Communicator, Time Sheets general Liability and Work Comp Incident Reports be familiar with the Mall including the back hallways and roads inventory Control (keep a record of what has been used and what is needed) make sure ALL work that is on the DAILY ACTION PLAN IS COMPLETED Requirements:
At least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
At least two (2) years previous experience in Housekeeping, EVS or similar environment.
Experience managing a workforce of over 10 employees.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals used.
Ability to understand process development.
Excellent customer services skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
