Caesars Midsouth has an immediate opportunity for Retail Manager. This position will be responsible for the overall management, profitability, and working environment of the retail operations at the Horseshoe Tunica Casino & Hotel and the Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel.
Oversees the retail operations of four (4) merchandise shops. Controls the receiving and vendor paymjents in conjunction with general ledger and accounts payable. Controls and evaluates end of month reporting as it relates to cost of goods sold. Responsible for overseeing all inventory preparations and end of month reports for each store. Responsible for visual merchandising and display direction.
Greets and assists customers, promotes sales and demonstrates good public relations. Works with buyers for suggestions on re-orders of merchandise and customer requests. Works with merchandisers to develop additional display techniques. Awareness of perishable product processing and rotation. Responsible for the screening, interviewing and selection of new employees. Maintain staffing levels to ensure delivery of service is maximized and stores operate efficiently. Conduct pre-shift meetings, coach, motivate, evaluate, and issue discipline when necessary. Effectively handles customer and employee complaints. Takes action to resolve customer and employee issues, complaints, and/or concerns. Ensures company and department policies and procedures are consistently followed by employees. Meets the attendance requirements of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.

Serves as a dynamic, positive leader, while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Must have retail manager experience in a high volume environment. Experience working with variety of merchandise preferred. Previous budget and forecasting experience helpful. Experience in analyzing Profit & Loss performance, hiring staff, training of staff, directing supervisory staff, management of perishable stock, and ordering product. Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality service levels. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills are required. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must have a history of developing employees who have been successfully promoted to increasing levels of responsibility. Previous experience designing store layout to increase revenue. Able to work independently. Able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations. Able to conduct conversations with customers and employees. Able to speak distinctly and persuasively to others. Able to write memos, letters, and reports. Able to understand, interpret, and analyze financial reports. Able to work any shift, up to 12 hours at a time when required. Able to operate a cash register,computer, 10 key calculator, telephone, fax and copier. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Skilled in Microsoft Office products. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift arms in front of body and above shoulders. Able to climb a ladder. Able to lift and carry 35 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
