Your daily responsibilities include:
Summary: Prepare and cook meals for guests by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Cooks food in quantities, using the grill, flat top and fryer, according to menu and portion control sheet, .
Assists Cast Members as needed
Serves prepared meals.
Keeps sandwich station clean and stocked at all times.
Keeps freezer stocked, organized and clean.
Assists with keeping entire lobby area cleaned and stocked.
May be required to work cash register at times.
Keeps the hot food on the line stocked with a fresh look at all times.
Keeps hot line area clean.
Keeps grill and flat top clean.
Takes out trash from behind the line.
Keeps all food areas in the Celebrity Caf clean and neat, including the dining tables, microwaves, toaster oven, etc.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
High school diploma or equivalent
Five years prior experience as cook in high volume food service operation
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
Knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield
Possess and maintain culinary tools (knives) to perform the necessary job functions
Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
Excellent customer service/communication skills
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
Able to work in constricting areas
Must be able to tolerate areas with high temperatures
Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
Must be able to maintain a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance and uphold company appearance/dress standards
Must be physically mobile with or without reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
