Horseshoe WSOP Bar Cook III (FT)

Prepare all hot and cold foods for the venue.
DESCRIPTION
Prepare meats, vegetables, soups, sauces, and other food items.
Prepare food items per standardized recipes or supervisor's guidelines
Set-up and maintain work station
Maintain walk-in coolers in a good sanitary condition.
Assist in other areas of kitchen as directed by Sous Chef.
Maintain a high degree of sanitation in work station.
Direct and Train all Cooks I and II.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Knowledge of soups, sauces, quantity cooking, and food sanitation
Three or more years' experience in food service, with some banquet experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to interpret and apply technical instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals furnished in written, oral or diagram form.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
