Horseshoe Hospitality Development Associate (FT)

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for the Hospitality Development Associate position is looking for hands on experience in the field of Food and Hotel operations. The associate must have a desire to learn Restaurant and Hotel Operations and will rotate through different areas of the operation, based on departmental needs.
The associate will assist with special projects and support in all areas including culinary, food service, and administration. The associate will participate in comprehensive, on-the-job training in the food and hotel operations, in both front and back of house operations. The associate may also be asked to perform duties in other areas as assigned.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education/Essential Skills/Experience:
The Hospitality Development Associate must have some experience in any or all of the following areas; Food and Beverage, Hospitality or Hotel Operations. The candidate must be able to communicate well on the phone and in person and have a strong working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.
The successful associate must be able to develop constructive and productive working relationships with a diverse pool of people with a variety of backgrounds, education and experience. This candidate is expected to have strong personal computer skills, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, and the ability to learn software programs quickly. The associate must have outstanding listening skills, and good communications skills, be very detail oriented, be focused on accuracy, and be able to work without close supervision. This individual needs to be a self-starter and should look to proactively offer support to team members in the operation.
CLOSING
All Candidates must meet the following requirements:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to hold a MS Gaming License.
Must be able to pass drug test.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
