Table Games Floor Supervisor - Part Time (Tunica)

The Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising company assets and the protection and integrity of all table games.? Supervise dealers, guest interactions, engagement and the delivery of high quality guest service standards; compliance with gaming regulations and company policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS



  • Supervise assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan, the fiscal budget, and the company?s short term and long-term profitability objectives.?

  • Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company?s core service standards and brand attributes.?

  • Supervise assigned staff to include: hiring recommendations that encompass the company?s diversity commitment; training; coaching; performance feedback, recommending and administering discipline, and scheduling.? Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction.?

  • Monitor guest flow and notifies management when adjustments to open table games are needed.

  • Ensure that all guests are treated with courtesy and respect as well as handling all guest disputes that cannot be resolved by Dealers in a pertinent and fair manner.

  • Observe, evaluate, and rate players objectively and accurately in accordance with departmental policy.

  • Verify the accuracy of all documents signed and ensures that all procedures are adhered.

  • Communicate all pertinent information in a timely and responsible manner.

  • Maintain proper bankroll levels to accommodate existing or anticipated play.

  • Completes all pit forms accurately including fills, credits, signing markers requests and redemptions.

  • Provide a clean, friendly environment and by being attentive to guest needs or requests.

  • Notify the Pit Manager and/or Shift Manager immediately of any unusual activity of high limit play.

  • Maintains knowledge of all games that they supervise and enforces all property procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


High School diploma or equivalent and six years of casino operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must be 21 years of age. Two years of supervisory experience preferred


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Mississippi Gaming Permit


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • Ability to distinguish winning/losing combinations and settle wagers accordingly

  • Knowledge and ability to deal assigned game and supervise multiple games when need,

  • Perform basic math?

  • Ability to communicate easily with all levels of employees and customers

  • Previous high volume/high end guest service experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment


PHYSICAL DEMAND:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing (up to 8 hours per shift), listening, and speaking.

  • Constantly observing in order to protect the integrity of the game

  • Frequently walking distances up to 1000 ft., between various areas of casino floor.

  • Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard.

  • Occasionally carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 5 lbs.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work performed indoors, in climate controlled environment. Employee will be exposed to smells/odors and secondhand smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:


Regular scheduled hours. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
