Room Service Dispatcher (Tunica)

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Room Service Telephone Sales Associate is responsible to take orders over the phone in room service.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ?



  • Constantly answers phones and provides general food and beverage information.

  • Constantly takes orders over the phone.

  • Constantly rings orders on the micro terminal.

  • Frequently tracks orders.

  • Constantly works with dispatcher to insure consistent, quality order placing process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required and one year Micros experience, phone/ reception experience is a plus. Must be at least 18 years or older.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Clear annunciation and pleasant speaking voice

  • Must have good organizational skills


PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMAND:



  • Constantly sitting, speaking on a headset, eye/hand coordination, finger dexterity, hearing, seeing ?and reading.


WORKING CONDITIONS:



  • Indoors working conditions

  • Small confined office

  • Moderate noise levels


WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:



  • Regular scheduled hours

  • Other ? Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
