Quality Manager

Summary Plans and assists in the Development and implementation of the plant-wide Quality Management System, including leading the assessment and maintenance of its effectiveness. Represents and safeguards SXP interests with respect to product quality, while ensuring SXP achieves the requirements of its customers and regulatory agencies. Essential Functions Providing strong quality leadership and direction within SXP, helping to keep the team aligned to achieve strong internal quality performance and a positive external quality image for SXP. Guiding all external quality-related discussions affecting its QMS and products. Oversight and evaluation of the effectiveness of all SXP product quality assessment activities. Additional Responsibilities Guides the development and maintenance of the QMS to ensure it meets all industry and/or customer requirements Manages the SXP product certification system including oversight of all internal and external laboratory and product quality testing Manages the Quality Documentation System, ensuring the system meets all third party, end user, and customer requirements to maintain all mandatory accreditations Assists the organization to establish metrics, collect and analyze data to highlight improvement opportunities to reduce scrap and rework, improve yield and improve customer satisfaction. Schedule, manage and coordinate all external audit requirements. Ownership for the SXP internal auditing system. Leads the organization to realize improvement through positive reaction to all internal, external corrective and preventive actions. Primary facilitator of all external contact with respect to material certification, internal quality system documents, corrective actions, third-party auditors and accreditations Makes recommendations for hiring, firing and wage increases and performs competency assessments and performance reviews. Completes various other assignments and duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in the field of industrial, quality, mechanical, or other engineering discipline required. 7 -10 years' experiencerequired in a quality related field; preferably related to oil and gas and/or metals manufacturing. Some metallurgy or material science education study or minimum 2 years of experience in the field is required. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role Prior experiencerequired in ISO 9001/ AS9100 site certification Special Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy is a requirement. Ability to interface with any person in the organization. Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical. Reliable attendance and good communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. ASQ certifications are a plus. 19900

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
