Floor Supervisor Housekeeping (Tunica)

Robinsonville, Mississippi
The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor is to ensure rooms and corridors are prepared for arrival and continued stay of Hotel Guests to standards commensurate with that of a 4-star Hotel.
+ Responsible for key control; assign and ensure all keys are signed for by Guest Room Attendants and General Cleaners and are recovered accordingly.
+ Ensures standardization and quality of all work done by providing continual supervision of GRAs and General Cleaners via room inspections and workstation inspections.
+ Ensures homeroom and amenity lockers well stocked and clean.
+ Order supplies as needed.
+ Ensures accurate records for guestroom areas and hallways in need of repair and their reporting to the proper channels (i.e., Engineering, Management, etc.)
+ Responsible for daily accurate paper work of rooms that refuse and/or need late services.
+ Responsible for promptly and accurately reporting to a manager any amount of rooms not covered
+ Responsible for Lost & Found items to be turned into proper authority, and to report any accidents to security.
+ Ensures expeditious turn in of clean rooms through computer phone system.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.
+ Assists in conducting physical inventory of linen

Guest Room Attendant, House person, Utility Cleaner
High School diploma or equivalent and six years scheduling, housekeeping, or general clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
+ Guest Room Attendant experience preferred
+ Knowledge and use of basic reading and writing skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Administrative/ clerical skills helpful.
+ Bilingual helpful
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing and walking between various areas of the property.
+ Constantly bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, and lifting (linen approximately 10 lbs., unlimited times throughout the day).
+ Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, and grip strength to 20 lbs. force.
+ Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 18lbs.
+ Occasionally pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs. of force to initiate movement of cart; 15lbs. of force to maintain movement of cart.
Work performed indoors in a climate controlled environment. Employee will be exposed to chemicals, dust, and secondhand smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Regular scheduled hours. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
